We've reached the end of another term and got through another round of gradings - massive congratulations to everyone who achieved their new belt! But that doesn't mean you have to take a break from training, if you're a student and heading back home for the holidays, make sure you check out the TJJF website. Here you can find your nearest club and see what times they normally train. Many of our clubs continue training throughout the year. I'm pleased to report that we had our first Virtual Town Hall on the 6th April, with nearly 50 people attending. Besides introducing myself as your new Chair, it was a great opportunity to present the various boards and their responsibilities, as well as introduce everyone to our Growth Project, and we held an informative Q&A session to close. It was a useful meeting and if you have any suggestions for our next one in July, please send them to feedback@jitsufoundation.org. People have been asking me how they can help and volunteer off the mat, which is so kind of you. More details will come out soon, and we'll also be sending out job descriptions for positions on the Management Board. These roles will be elected at our AGM in September. In the meantime, there is one thing you can easily do to help me, and that's to Like, Comment and Share our social media posts. It makes a massive difference and it gets more eyes on our martial art, more exposure and hopefully more interest in our wonderful organisation. We have our next two National events coming up in just under two weeks: 📍#Randoris2025 - 3 - 4th May in Birmingham
📍Junior Nationals - 10th May in Wolverhampton These are amazing events, so please make every effort to join us for the training and competitions, as well as the evening social at the Randoris. Definitely some of the highlights of our Jitsu year! If you see me at the Nationals, please don't hesitate to come over and have a chat. I can't wait to see you all soon! Eric Lau
