I hope you had a great Easter break. As always, I've eaten far too many chocolates so I'll have to get back into training to lose a few pounds.
We have a busy few months ahead, starting with the Junior Randori Nationals next Saturday in Wolverhampton. The event will include training, competitions, and some gradings. Good luck to everyone participating.
Then the following weekend, we have the adult Randori Nationals in Birmingham. As stated in the email last week. Please ensure you register your place by April 23rd.
Another one for your diary is the Summer Ball in Newcastle (11th July). This event features the Shodan and above grading, a summer course, and then a black-tie ball to celebrate this year's promotions and highlights. We will also be presenting the Instructor of the Year and Club of the Year awards during the evening too. It's definitely one of my favorite events of the year.
I was lucky to see some our senior grades in action at the Midlands BBaD last weekend; they performed exceptionally well, and I am looking forward to seeing them grading in July and receive their new belts or badges.
Keep training hard, and I will see you soon at the Nationals.
