It’s September and, believe it or not, Fresher’s Fairs & taster sessions have already started. Not only for our University clubs, but it’s also a great time for our Town & Junior clubs too. So good luck everyone, support each other and the clubs around you. Every bit helps and I guarantee it’ll be worth the hard work you put in.
We will also be supporting clubs with promotional material and online activity. I’m hoping you’ve seen a massive improvement in our social media accounts since January. Our aim is to build and maintain the TJJF’s online presence and to communicate and engage with our current members. As always, please like, comment and share our posts, it makes a huge difference. Not only TJJF, but also other clubs' efforts.
A big thank you to Simon Pickersgill for delivering the virtual club committee course recently. Training like this is vital for keeping our organisation strong and ensuring our clubs are well-supported by their SU. We are looking to re-run this course at the end of month for those who want a refresher or for those who missed it.
We also appreciate everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting - your engagement helps share the future of TJJF. The Management Board and myself are always looking for volunteers to help support the organisation. So if you want to help in any of the following areas, please reach out:
Operations
Legal
Finance
Marketing
Advertising / Branding
Comms
Graphics
Video
Finally a congratulations to everyone who graded over the summer. It’s important to give those that have trained over the summer an opportunity to grade up and get a new belt.
Good luck in your recruitment drives. Keep posting using #TJJF and #tjjfCommunity and I’ll share as many as I can.
